About our company

Phoenix Biotechnology, Inc., a privately held corporation, was incorporated in the State of Texas in March 2003. The company was created through the acquisition of the assets of Anvirlat, Inc., a privately held Nevada corporation controlled by Messrs. Addington and Kost, current officers and directors of the company. The company is currently in its ninth year of a Sponsored Research Agreement with the Pharmaceutical Development Center at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. This research is being conducted in the Pharmaceutical Development Center, Department of Experimental Therapeutics. This research has led to the development of an anti-neoplastic agent that the company has entered into USFDA Phase I Clinical Trials in 2007.
Social responsibility

The Company is focusing its research efforts to develop products that conform with the new paradigm for the socially responsible approach to the treatment of cancer as described by the National Cancer Institute.

The new paradigm seeks to develop therapeutic agents and treatment regimens that will enable physicians to eventually deal with cancer as a chronic condition rather than an acute condition and enable patients to live extended lives with a high or improved quality of life.
